This site is run by Dale Hardiman. It collects as little as possible. This page explains what is collected, why, and your rights under UK GDPR.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how it is used. No analytics cookies are set unless you allow them through the consent banner. If you decline, nothing is stored and you can keep browsing. You can change your mind by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the banner back.
The Friday email
If you sign up to the email list, your email address is stored with Mailchimp, the platform that sends the emails. That is the only personal data collected: your email address. It is used to send you the weekly email and nothing else. It is never sold or shared. Every email contains an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.
Hosting
The site is a static site hosted on Vercel, which processes standard server logs (such as IP addresses) to serve pages and protect against abuse.
Your rights
You can ask what data is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. For anything related to this site, contact me through the social channels below. If you are unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
